On Saturday May 22, volunteers of the India Association of New Hampshire (IANH) visited the Nashua Soup kitchen and cooked and served hot meal to over eighty homeless in the Nashua area. Preparations for the activity began on Friday night when Barinder Ahluwalia, Public Service Committee Chair arranged a potluck and “veggie preparation” at her home. Gurmeet Kaur, Padma Mathur, Geeta Prabhakar, Aprajitha Manchanda, Dimple Mehra, Vandana Dhakar, Sima Mazzu, and Sushila Kothari of the “veggie team” helped to process the veggies for lasagna.
