Ekal Vidyalaya is an organization whose focus is to bring holistic development to over 100,000 remote rural villages in India. Ekal is the winner of Gandhi Peace Prize, the highest award given to non-profits by the government of India. 2.8 million children are enrolled in Ekal Schools. In addition to education, Ekal is also working to health and economic development.
