Please accept hearty greetings
on this auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan, our best of all wishes,
and feelings of pure divine love!
This Festival is based on the
principles of love and purity which are much needed at these uncertain
times in the world. It is as though Humanity's heart is calling out to
be healed.
"Tying myself in this sacred thread (the rakhi)" means
to take the pledge to stay in my original nature of peace, love and
purity. This promise becomes a bond of protection. It reminds us that
the healing power of love comes from a Source that is beyond limits,
conditions, and discrimination which brings about a vision of universal
brotherhood that transcends caste, creed, age, gender, religion, and
socio-economic status.
We have missed seeing so many of you because of the constraints of COVID and would like to invite you to join us for an online Celebration on Saturday, Aug 15th at 5:30 - 6:45 pm.
For this auspicious celebration, we have a special guest, Sister Suman
from the headquarters of the Brahma Kumaris, Mount Abu, India. Sister
Suman will be sharing with us the significance and importance of this
festival for the current times. Along with this, we will have
experiential meditation and Q&A.
Looking forward to having you with us,
Your friends at the Brahma Kumaris Meditation Center in Watertown.
