A free vocal concert by Harshini Magesh, which will include a variety of Indian film songs.

Harshini Magesh is a rising sophomore at Acton Boxborough Regional High School, MA. She has been an Ekal Youth Volunteer for the past three years. She is very passionate about singing Indian film songs and has won singing competitions in the New England Area. She was selected as the winner of the NEMA Drishya 2019 Junior Non-Classical singing category, winner of KANE 2019 in both classical and non-classical singing categories, as well as in a few other music competitions. She has been learning classical Carnatic vocal music for the past six years and has recently started learning Hindustani music. Harshini is performing a vocal concert as a fundraiser in support of Ekal's cause towards providing education to children in rural & tribal India. This will be a free vocal concert on Friday, July 31, from 8:00 to 9:30 pm during which she will be performing a selection of Indian film songs. She humbly invites you all to her concert and to donate towards this cause.
