NETS To Celebrate Tamil New Year's Day

Enthused by the success of "Pongal Vizha" which was attended by over 250 people, the New England Tamil Sangam celebrates Tamil New Year's Day with a hilarious Tamil Play "Veetukku Veedu Vassappadi" featuring Stage Friends (USA). It is an adaptation of a popular Visu film. This is the 11th production for troupe which is very popular in the North East. Their recent show in New Jersey (see photos to the right) was a big hit with over 500 in attendance.
Play will be staged on April 24th at the Littleton High School Auditorium, 56 King Street, Littleton, MA.
To avoid disappointment we urge you to book tickets early. Food will be served following the play, courtesy of NETS.

NETS is planning many exciting events for the upcoming year. A community networking dinner will be held on 13th of June and a picnic is scheduled for the 24th of July. Manuel Aaron, India's first international Chess Master who has won the National Chess
Title for a record nine times is expected to attend the picnic. He has received the prestigious Arjuna Award from the President of India. Mark your calendars and be part of all these exciting events.
