The program features Kathak recital by Shinjini Kulkarni (Grand Daughter of Pt Birju Maharaj) along with Anubrata Chatterjee on Tabla and Rohan Mishra on Sarangi. This will be followed by Tabla Jugalbandi of Pandit Anindo Chatterjee & Anubrata Chatterjee along with Sarangi accompaniment.

This concept is unique as it brings various forms of classical music and dance under one roof in one evening. It will be a wholesome evening of dance and percussion with focus on traditional repertoire and modern abhinay of Lucknow Gharana dance form along with traditional compositions of Farrukhabad, Lucknow and Ajrada Gharanas from the legend Pandit Anindo Chatterjee and his illustrious son, Anubrata Chatterjee.

The melodious tone of sarangi of Rohan Misra (son of Pandit Ramesh Mishra) will add to the music for the evening.

ENCHANTMENT! 

Enchantment is the story of the music and the lives of sitar maestro Pandit Ravi Shankar and violin wizard Vidwan Lalgudi Jayaraman. With music, drama and dance, Dr Gowri Ramnarayan skillfully creates a play-performance with incidents and anecdotes from the lives of these two great musicians. Central to this is her interest in exploring how their very different life experiences and temperaments influenced the music of each. Their journey is visualized with their own original music compositions. Brilliant actor V Balakrishnan, superb dancers Sheejith Krishna and Jyotsna Jagannathan, as also playwright, musician and award winning director Dr. Gowri Ramnarayan, lead the audience into the magical world of the master artists.
