Vandana Rao and Hema Iyengar 12/19/2019 CENTER FOR
ARTS AND WELLNESS - NEW CLASSES in the New Year! With
the holidays upon us and New Year around the corner, we are all looking forward
to creating cherished memories with friends and family; remembering the good
times and leaving behind challenging ones. The Center for Arts and Wellness
would like to take the opportunity and thank everyone for their support,
motivation and love that has made this journey so far such a humbling and
memorable experience. The
Center for Arts and Wellness (in Westborough) started as a simple idea at a
holiday dinner table and has blossomed into a cornerstone of creative and
performing arts for the larger Metro West Community. The Center opened its
doors in October 2016 as a unique and humble concept of bringing art
and health together by two local artists, Hema Iyengar and
Vandana Rao. 2019 marked the 3-year anniversary of the Center and its wonderful
journey from inception to a well-established focal point for art, cultural and
wellness programs. To celebrate this important milestone the Center hosted its mid-year
recital on December 14th. It was a pleasure to see the hard work
and talent of its students with mesmerizing performances ranging from
vocal, instrumental and various forms of dance. More than 80 students participated
with breathtaking performance that lifted the holiday spirits and created an
aura of divinity, trance and glee. As
the Center looks back at its achievements for this year, while also planning
new resolutions and goals for the New Year. The Center for Arts and Wellness can
be part of your art, fitness and wellness goals for 2020. For MUSIC,
