Upping their promotional strategy, the makers decided to do a Sye Raa Trivia on twitter every day till its release. The trivia discloses some unknown facts about the film and creates an unknown buzz amongst the audience. According to the makers - more than 100 actors were auditioned in London for a period of 30 days before 7 actors were chosen for key roles in the film.

Superstar Hrithik Roshan who is gearing up for his next release, War has been receiving a great response and wide appreciation for his transformation from Anand Kumar to War's Kabir. Speaking about his transformation, the actor shared that he found his transformation challenging. Hrithik had only two months left for his transformation and to achieve this goal of getting into the character of Kabir from Anand, he was driven and highly motivated as the process in itself of transformation was challenging. However, Hrithik with his tenacity got into the shape of Kabir who has a muscular and chiselled body from his mien of Anand Kumar- who is a middle aged Maths teacher. Hrithik shared, "If I don't have the challenge and motivation to do something then I wont do anything and I'll just sit and relax".

Alia Bhatt was really looking forward to working with maverick filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali on his modern romance, Inshallah, with none other than Salman Khan. However, the film isn't happening anymore with Khan and has been put on hold. But Bhatt's dream of working with the director is still alive as she has been roped in for Gangubai, Bhansali's next film which was earlier supposed to star Priyanka Chopra. Earlier titled Heera Mandi, the film chronicles the life of the most ferocious sex worker of Mumbai's iconic Kamathipura, and how her dread and fear sent a chill down everyone's spine. Now, another news came out that Ranbir Kapoor has been roped in opposite the actress. But, the PeepingMoon website has reported all these rumours and baseless. There's absolutely no truth to the actor coming on board for the film.

Having earned accolades for her act as a rape victim in Section 375, Meera Chopra has trained her focus on her next, Kamathipura, a series that dabbles in the flesh trade. Essaying the part of a cop in the web show, Priyanka Chopra Jonas's cousin says she had to frequent the red-light area to acquaint herself with it."As a cop posted in that place, I had to familiarize myself with the area. My team took me to Kamathipura for three days, and we travelled across places like gully no 12 and 13, where access for the common folk is restricted," says the actor, who investigates a spate of murders in the area for the Amazon Prime series, helmed by Shravan Kumar.
