SHRI DWARKAMAI SPORTS TOURNAMENTS OF 2019

Each Year Shri Dwarkamai Sports Team organizes Tennis Tournaments and Cricket Tournaments during the Summer time to benefit Boston Children’s Hospital. Communities from all around the greater Boston neighborhood participate in our tournaments. Between both Tournaments this year,  we were able to  raise $1500, which will be  donated to the Boston Children’s Hospital.  The  feedback from our participants in regards to our Tournament this year was very encouraging as always. The organizers were very well appreciated for their efficiency and execution of the Tournament.

All the matches were played with good spirit and every player exhibited his/her sportsmanship in the best manner. We appreciate all the participants for having come forward to exhibit their talents for a great cause. All cheers to the volunteers of our Dwarkamai Sports Team and all the participants who shared their strength and spirit to make this Tournament happen and evolve to be a great success.

OUR EIGHTH ANNUAL TENNIS TOURNAMENT 2019 :

Shri  Dwarkamai Sports Team was proud to organize their Eighth Annual Tennis Tournament  at the Billerica Recreation Tennis Courts on Saturday August 24^th  2019. We had more than 70 registrations this year. Adults and children of all ages participated in Singles and Doubles category.  A very special thanks to the Billerica Recreation Department for offering the space/court time this year at no cost to our charity event and for this great cause. We would also like to thank our own Akshay Thotangare for sponsoring the Trophies for the tournaments.

OUR FOURTH ANNUAL CRICKET TOURNAMENT 2019 :

Shri  Dwarkamai Sports Team was proud to organize their Fourth Annual Six-a-Side Cricket Tournament  at the center street field in Burlington, MA on the 7th and 8th of September 2019. We had 21 teams registered to play this year, and they all played on September 7th, in the initial round of cricket games. Qualified teams came back on September 8th to play the Quarter Finals, Semi Finals and the Finals.   A very special thanks to the Burlington Recreation Department for offering the space/court time this year at a nominal cost to our charity event and for this great cause.

The teams that participated at the tournament this year are : Alert6, Andover Boyz,  Billerica Boys A, Billerica Boys B, Burning Bush 1, Burning Bush 2, Chargers,  Eaves Burlington, Gully Cricketers, Lagaan Run Out,  Legends, Mass Avengers, Mass Maulers, Mass Ghillies,  Mass Ghillies 2,  Smashers,  TSK-1, TSK-2, V6, V6 Plus, Veer Gujar.
