The Murthy
Sthapana/ Pran Pratishtha Utsav/Ceremony was celebrated with great pomp and
show at Shri Radha Krishna Mandir located in Northborough, MA from Thursday,
Jun 13 to Sunday, Jun16, 2019 by the devotees. On the weekdays, the Murthy
Sthapana was performed only in the evening session from 6:00pm to 9:00pm
whereas on weekends it was carried on in two sessions viz. the morning from
10:00am to 1:00pm and evening from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. Hundreds of devotees
attended this lifetime event with great enthusiasm and graced the event with
their presence in their traditional attires and received Maha Darshan and
blessings of Gods and Goddesses for their prosperous and healthy future. The consecration of the Murtis involved the
recitation of Hymns, Mantras and the rituals included an elaborative process
for the Murti Sthapana or placement of the idol after Abhishekam. This Pran
Pratishtha ritual infuses life into the deities and the temple and bring to
them the numinous presence of divinity and spirituality. Deities involved in
the Murthy Sthapana ceremony were Shri Ganesh, Ma Durga, Pavanputra Hanuman Ji,
Ma Radha and Lord Krishna, Shree Ram Parivar, Lord Shiv Ji and Nandi. Temple
priest, Pt. Jagadish Ji with the support of Shri Maha Vishnu Ji and the
temple’s very dedicated team of devotees conducted Pran Pratistha Puja Vidhi
for all the deities as per Hindu Shastra along with chanting of Vedic Mantras
in Sanskrit over the period of four days and explained step by step procedure
to the Yajman and devotees at large. The temple venue and the shrine were
decorated very elegantly by the volunteers with flower garlands and colorful
lights. Shri Pankaj Adaval with his devoted team set up the sound system for
the priest and the local and special guest singers of the event. Moorty sponsors included Shri Kamalesh Dawan Family,
Smt Swarna Nalamati Family, Shri Rajesh Shukla Family, Subdoh Gupta Family, Raj
Tulsani Famly and Neha & Amish Patel Family. Pran Pratishtha sponsors were
Shri Ravi Ika Family, Smt Vasu Family, Achuta Family, and Smt Mona Patel
Family. Maha Prasadam was sponsors by Vishal & Richa, Punjabi Dhana, Masala
Café, Mayuri Acton, and Ambati Family. Community support was generously provided by Shri
Amrit Sabha, Northborough, Patel Brothers and India Market of Shrewsbury for
this event. Omni Granite and Marble, Granite and Marble Depot and Dr. Sareen
Family provided their support for the creative activities of the event. The
temple’s dedicated volunteer team included Shri Pankaj Sharda, Shri Rajesh
Chauhan, Shri Ashok Gattumallu (DJ), Shri Ramesh Subramaniam, Shri Arvind, Smt
Vasu, Smt Swarna, Parimal & Vipula, Shri Pushkar & Smt Monalisa, Shri
Raj & Sunita Bulsu, Jatin and Vijay. Smt Sunita Adaval worked very hard 24 by 7 for four
days and she was the super brain behind the planning and execution of this
grand event since a year. She made all the arrangements for importing all the
Murtis from Udaipur to Northborough. She
also led the food serving team who served the Maha Prasadam after every session
to all the devotees with a big smile and love. Shri Pankaj Adaval, the president of the temple
thanked profusely all the sponsors individually for their generous support for
this event and making their community’s dream come true. He thanked especially
Pt Jagadish Ji and his support group for their tireless work and organizing the
event very methodically and carrying it out very professionally. He thanked
liberally Shri Pankaj Sharda for sponsoring the Pran Pratishtha event and
donating silver snake for the Shivalingam. He also thanked Smt Hema Iyengar
Nrityanjali Dance School for providing their community support. He appreciated
the enthusiastic participation and support provided by all devotees of the
temple. Last but not least, he thanked all the volunteers from his bottom of
heart for making this event a grand success with all their dedicated time and
services. I loved the installation of Murtis with full
devotion amidst Holy Mantras, Poojas and Pran Pratishtha Ceremony was performed
by Pt. Jagadish Ji on these auspicious
