VERVE 2019 – Festival of Performing Arts

It is that time of the year, while the spring season is in full swing and everyone is looking forward to warmer temperatures, here at Center for Arts and Wellness, we are excited to announce our Annual Program - VERVE 2019 - on June 8^th at Southborough Middle School. There is a lot of buzz about VERVE 2019 as it takes on a different dimension this year. The Center has extended invitations to other teachers and practitioners in the New England Area to come and join the annual celebration of arts and culture. 

Center for Arts and Wellness has always been committed to creating an amalgamation of disparate art forms under a single roof and make it easier for the communities it serves in the larger Metro-West and Boston area to subscribe to their interest and fuel their passion for those art forms. Hosting VERVE embodies that commitment by showcasing the talent and creativity of students and teachers that the Center has been able to nurture. It is also an opportunity for all the art aficionados in the area to come and appreciate this unique event that takes artistry and sensory immersion to another level. 

The Center for Arts and Wellness which started with a small group of teachers and a handful of students, has now grown to a sizeable family of 15 teachers and over 200 students! On their Arts track, classes range from Dance (Bharatanatyam, Kathak and Bollywood), Vocal (Hindustani, and Western), Instrument (Guitar, Flute, Piano, Mridangam and Tabla), Drawing/Painting, Henna Design, Ceramics-Pottery and Cake Decoration, and on their Wellness track they offer Bolly-X Fitness, Zumba, Yoga and Meditation. They also host vacation and enrichment programs for children.

The 2nd Annual Show will be an event to remember that brings together rich talent from across the New England area in the form of various performances by students of all ages. The enthusiasm and energy of the students will be evident in their different music and dance performances! 

Along with performances, music during the day and dance in the evening, VERVE 2019 will also host a Vendor Bazaar â€“ a fun shopping opportunity providing local businesses a platform to reach a broader community base and increase their own business prospects; a way for the Center to give back to the community and support fellow-local businesses, many who are small businesses.  

The Show is Open to All! Join us at VERVE 2019, on June 8th at the Trottier Middle School in Southborough, and witness a once-a-year phenomenon of arts, culture and diversity of performances and learn more about the Center!
