Press Release 01/03/2019 As it winds down an exciting and eventful 2018, IAGB is eager
to announce the Antakshari Semi-Final
event followed by Republic Day Mela 2019.
IAGB recently held multiple prelim sessions for the
Antakshari competition. Eight teams have been selected to compete in the
semi-finals. The Antakshari Semi-Finals
Dinner Gala will be held on January
12, 2019 at Priya Restaurant,
Lowell, MA. Entry (includes dinner) is available at $10 for members and $15
for non-members. Please register online at https://iagb.org/antakshari-semifinals/ to
attend the event. The Antakshari Semi-Finals Dinner Gala is a cozy,
entertaining evening for Bollywood enthusiasts. The eight participating teams

Tumhara: - Shilpa Atnoor and Rajesh Iyer Republic Day is one of IAGB’s signature event for the last
several decades. The celebration this year will take place on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at the Burlington High School, Burlington, MA.
The event will be comprised of two exciting segments. We will kick off the
celebrations in the afternoon with various competitions for ages. This includes
carrom, skit, chess, general knowledge quiz, elocution, story telling and
poetry writing. Competition participation is free and open to all members; sign
up is available on IAGB’s website. This segment will be followed by the
cultural performances and Antakshari Grand Finale. The two will be interwoven
and showcased starting 5 pm. Throughout the event, attendees will get to interact with
local exhibitors and vendors from various corners of our community.
