IAFPE To Host A Workshop On Running For Public Office

Indian American Forum for Political Education, Massachusetts-Chapter
(www.iafpe-ne.org) is holding a “Workshop on Running for Political Office: What it Takes” on February 28, 2004 from 2:00 - 4:30 pm at the Weston Public Library, 87 School Rd., Weston, MA.
Ever wanted to find out more about how you could be involved in the issues of your town and community? Did you ever think of joining a town committee or better still run for an office? Here’s your opportunity to know what this process entails and get answers to all your questions from a real Town Clerk, Town Selectman, Town Committee Member and Member of the Board of Education. Come and meet people who have done it and network with them. Join us for this unique opportunity to explore how you could get more involved in your town and community!
Workshop is free but Registration is required.

From 128/95 - Take Route 128 to Route 20 W towards Weston (Exit 26). Go west on Route 20 about 1.5 miles to the first traffic light, which is on the corner of Route 20 and School Street. Turn left on School Street. The library is 4/10 of a mile on your right, just before the Field School. There is parking in front and side of the building.
