Problem 1:

The top of the pole we see at an angle of 45°. If we approach the pole by 10 m, we see the top of the pole at an angle of 60°. What is the height of the pole?


Problem 2:
A plane flies at altitude 6500 m. At the time of first measurement was to see the elevation angle of 21° and second measurement of the elevation angle of 46°. 

Calculate the distance the plane flew between the two measurements.

Problem 1:

A lamp is used to light during Diwali hold oil up to its brim.   The diameter of the lamp is 10 cm and the height is 3 cm.  Assume the lamp is cut from a sphere at the height of 3 cm from base and ignore the thickness of the lamp. How many liters of oil does a single lamp hold?

Problem 2:
If the lamp in Problem 1 can burn for 12 hours, what is the height of the oil in the lamp after 6 hours.
