Chinmaya Mission Boston will host its annual picnic and 5K Chinmaya Organization for Rural Development (CORD) walk on Sunday, Sept. 30 at State Park in Carlisle, MA. The event is scheduled to start at 9:00 AM.

Chinmaya Organization for Rural Development, known as CORD, is a India-based non-profit organization to help the disadvantaged transform their lives  through  self-help programs. CORD supports over 700 villages in Himachal Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Orissa, Tamil Nadu and Sri Lanka, providing help to over 150,000 villagers. Warm up    : 9:20 AM to 9;40 AM
Kickoff       : 9:40 AM to 10:00 AM
5K Run Start: 10:00 AM
5K Walk Start: 10:10 AM
Awarding Prizes:  11:00 AM to 11:30 AM
Picnic                  : 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM
