Sree Vijaya Kali Ashram (Sri Siddha Lalitha Peetham) in Burlington, MA will conduct the annual chariot festival, the most awaited festival of Rath Yatra (procession of Lord Jagannath) on Saturday, 14th July 2018 at 4:00 pm.
The procession will be in a 14’ tall chariot specially for the purpose and decorated with various designs and colors and with flowers. Sree Vijaya Kali Ashram has been conducting the event for several years.
The event commences with the head of the Ashram Sri. Bhavani Tejasvi Athmaram preparing Lord Jagannath (Lord Krishna), his sister Goddess Subhadra and his elder brother Lord Balabhadra ready for procession. With all the vedic chants the procession will begin at 4 pm from the Asram, proceed on Wilmington Road towards Cambridge street, Burlington covering over 1.6 miles. Devotees sing Bhajans during the procession which will be follwed by Suna Besha Darshan, Maha Puja and Nritya Seva in Kuchipudi, Bharatanatyam and odissi to Lord Jagannath.

All devotees are invited to attend and seek the blessings of Godesses Durga, Kali and Lord Jagannath. All devotees interested in participating in the procession are requested to arrive before the procession leaves at 4 pm.
