The Valentine's Day Gala is a fundraiser to benefit Asha for Education. The attire is formal wear.

Ticket price includes a three-course Indian dinner, raffle ticket, cultural program featuring Odaiko New England, and NYC’s best DJ spinning a fusion of Bhangra, Hindi, and Hip-Hop.

It will be the social event of 2004 for the South Asian community - a night of fun, elegance and bringing community together to support a great charity.

One-year subscription to fashion magazines such as I Style and to news publications as India Abroad and SiliconIndia are some of the items guests could win at the gala. Membership to professional organizations and gift certificates to clothing stores are also up for grabs.

Several Boston press agencies will be covering the gala. Maybe you can get your name and picture on one of them. But only if you attend!

Asha for Education is an international non-profit organization that focuses on education of underprivileged children in India. What makes ASHA unique is that it is run by volunteers dedicated to it’s mission. That means the organization carries a very low overhead. In other words, all funds donated go directly to supporting ASHA projects.
