With the 'millionaire tax' ballot question rejected, and more than 15,900 residents statewide reporting an adjusted gross income of more than $1 million, here is the list of Million-dollar earners and Number of them per 1,000 residents for each city/town.

Weston had the highest proportion of million-dollar earners, about 46 per 1,000 residents, followed by Dover (37), Wellesley (30), Manchester (21), and Lincoln (19).

In terms of raw numbers, Boston had the most million-dollar earners with 2,131, followed by Newton (1,276), Wellesley (864), Weston (548), and Brookline (490).
