90’s KI YAADEIN - 5th annual musical fundraiser by LEHER to benefit AID Boston New England Community, are you ready for a fun-filled, rocking, finger snapping, toe tapping and one of a kind musical show?? LEHER, a Boston based live South Asian musical band is getting ready to showcase “90’s KI YAADEIN†a unique live musical concert that will bring back memories of your favorite songs from the 1990s Bollywood Era. Don’t miss out on this entertaining show where LEHER’s live musicians and singers perform classics like “Pehla Nashaâ€, “Kehna hi Kya†and more to be enjoyed by teenagers, adults, and keenagers! LEHER, a Boston based South Asian band conceptualized and established in 2012 by mother daughter duo, Dr. Amal Jawa and Dr. Raagini Jawa, consists of 10 talented musicians and singers from different parts of the world who joined together to make a difference by supporting noble health initiatives and performing various genres of Indian music to our community. This time they bring 90’s KI YAADEIN, a musical fundraiser concert to be held on, June 2nd from 4PM at Carey Memorial Hall, Lexington, MA. LEHER’s goal through this concert is to raise funds to benefit AID Boston’s rural healthcare projects in India and enable them to get the gift of optimal healthcare. AID Boston is a non-profit organization that supports grassroots organizations in India and initiates efforts in various interconnected spheres such as education, livelihoods, natural resources including land, water and energy, agriculture, health, women's empowerment and social justice. It is a 100% volunteer run US based organization. LEHER through its past performances-- Shaam-E-Leher: a Ghazal show in 2013, Mitti-Ke-Rang: an Indian Folk Fusion show in 2014, Tarang: an Unplugged Acoustic show in 2015, Sufiyana Bahaar: a Tribute to Sufi music in 2016 - has been successful to bring various Indian genres to our local community and has provided vision to over 300 eyes through Sankara Eye Foundation and health care facilities for maternal and child care in rural India through AID Boston. From the success of past events, this year, we are very optimistic and excited to continue our march to give back to the community through our music.
