10/26/2017 DAWN World Wide is organizing their annual
fundraising dinner gala on 4th
November 2017 at Belmont Center, Belmont, MA. It will be a night full of
great entertainment, food and the proceeds from the night will support a
greater cause. Funds from ticket sales will support
organizations that educate young men on gender inequality and training them on
what's right and wrong when it comes to domestic and sexual violence. We will
also use the funding to train the trauma counsellors working with victims and
survivors. Furthermore, if we raise enough funding we will help set up shelters
and helplines for women, sensitivity training for police handling rape cases
and other efforts to challenge harmful gender norms. The night along with the description of great
work DAWN has done for the cause, it will also include a piece from Ben
Zimmerman, a music artist who will portrait Men’s involvement in movement
against violence on women. You can support the cause and enjoy the night
by purchasing your tickets through this link. About DAWN DAWN ‘s mission is to end gender-based violence
