Problem 1:A swimming pool can be filled by a large pump in 3 hours and by a small pump in 6 hours, each pump working on its own. At 9 am large pump is started. At what time will the swimming pool be filled if small pump is started at 9:30 am?
Problem 2:
It takes 2 hours for Tim to mow the lawn. Linda can mow the same lawn in 3 hours. John can mow it in 5 hours. John starts mowing at 9 am, and is joined by Linda at 10 am and Tim at 11 am. At what time will they finish mowing the lawn?
