Miss Kumu Gupta is recipient of the prestigious 2017 Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award from Marquis Who's Who.

Marquis Who's Who has been chronicling lives of prominent Americans worldwide since 1898 and Kumu was first listed in the Who's Who of Science & Engineering in 2006 as a female Entrepreneur and hi tech professional. Kumu graduated from Indian School Kuwait in top 3 of her 10+2 (CBSE) class in Science , in Kuwait and also entire Gulf CBSE system. As an undergraduate student at State University of New York (Stony Brook) while doing her B.E./M.S. in Engineering, Kumu was often the only female or among 2-3 female students in an all male class. After graduating, in work as well in Silicon Valley and Boston area  Kumu has always been in 2-3 women in her department and company in a male dominated field.

In 2008, Kumu's profile was included in Marquis Who's Who in the World in 2008 due to her achievements and accolades in both professional as well as community work, which only top 5% of people in the world have the honor of being included.
