Press Release // NESSP conducts 4 key community service events on one day, looks forward to it's new place in Groton, MA to support more community service activities. On 18th Dec, 2016, NESSP organized four big events on one day. This was only possible with the support of all the dedicated volunteer support that is an integral part of the NESSP. All these events were successfully executed and well received by the people. Over all it was a day filled with high spiritual energy and also with multiple kids activities for a whole day. The temple hall was filled up hundreds of devotees through out the day and with this NESSP does look forward to it's new Temple and Mission Center in Groton so that it can support more similar activities and support the growing needs of the community. 1.Samuhik Guru charitra parayan: Devotees gathered around 9 AM and performed Baba abhishekam, was followed by discussion on Guru charitra chapters. Devotees were able to share their knowledge based on the chapters they read and overall it was a great new experience. 2.31st NESSP Scholastic Chess tournament: 33 players were played for Spiegel cup qualifying tournament. Started at 9 AM and went till 1:30 PM. Kids were enthusiastic playing chess and some parents were meditating in the Baba’s room and some other were curious to watch their kids play. 3.College planning Seminar by Dr. Anil Saigal: Few hundreds of parents with their kids were present. Dr. Anil presented a slide show and explained a detailed process in college planning for parents of high school and Middleschool kids. Many parents shared their doubts and got clarified by Dr. Anil. Parents were happy with the way NESSP serving the community needs. 4. NESSP 5th Annual Kids Competitions: This year stands out best as NESSP introduced math bee, Video games, Sudoku. Total of 297 participants were appeared for the competitions. Mr. Jack petros was the honourable guest, who was moved by the response and applauded the volunteers effort in conducting such a gigantic event. Over all it was a day filled with high spiritual energy and also with multiple kids activities for a whole day.
