Happenings at NESSP on this weekend:

On the occasion of Duttatreya jayanthi, NESSP is conducting a samuhika guru charitra parayan – A discussion on Guru charitra parayan. The devotees who sign up for chapter reading will read that particular chapter at home and prepare a synopsis of that chapter and present at temple on Saturday, December 17th, 9 AM and read the summary of the chapter in front of all other devotees.

On Saturday, 17^th December, NESSP also conducting Vocabulary bee and Geography bee for kids 1-6 grades followed by Trophy presentation for all the winners of Video games, chess, Essay writing, spelling contests.

Groton town selectman Mr. Jack Petropoulos (Chairman) will grace as a chief guest for Bees competitions and present trophies to the winners.

This year the geography bee question paper was prepared by National Geography bee Runner up – Mr. Saketh Jonnalagadda. He will also speak for few minutes about his achievement and shares his journey with the other kids and provide motivation so more kids can participate in such competitions. We cordially invite one and all parents and bring your kids.

Mr. Anil Saigal, founder and editor of Lokvani will grace the occasion and present a seminar on College admission process and preparation needed by high school kids.

NESSP is an independent local organization that has been serving the devotee needs since a decade. In addition to temple related activities, NESSP also believes in helping the community that its part of. The organization has an active Charitable and Philanthropy charter. The different charitable activities NESSP has undertaken in the past are: Disaster Relief, Annadaan (food donation) to the homeless, Winter Clothes drive – Collection and distribution of warm winter clothes to the needy. Red Cross Blood donation drives, Lowell General hospital cancer center walks. NESSP Conducts Free health camp and Dental camps, Meditation and Yoga sessions. For kids, NESSP Conducts Annual Academic competitions, chess classes, quizzes. NESSP is run by a dedicated team of volunteers.

NESSP is building a SAI temple at Groton-MA on the principles of Faith and Patience. With SAI blessings it happens to be the largest Sai temple of North America with the abode of Hindu Deities. Please follow the below link for temple project updates.
