IAGB hosted the second round of its first-ever Antakshari Competition in Shrewsbury, MA. The winning teams were:

Sargam: Debarati Mukherjee and Reshma Nair
PPAP: Preetesh Shrivastava and Pratibha Krishnamurthy
SwaMe: Swati Dave and Medha Nadgir

With approximately 12 teams and 24 contestants taking part in this round, the only Bollywood songs competition was quite stiff. The competition involved four rounds of questions. The standard antalshari, singing a song with a particular word, singing the song after hearing 10 seconds of the introductory music, and singing the song which had a with a particular context which was provided as a clue in English.

On behalf of IAGB, Aditi Taylor and her team did a superb job organizing the event. The 8 teams from the two preliminary rounds will compete in the semifinals in early January.
