IAGB hosted its first-ever Antakshari Competition in Burlington, MA. The winning teams were: 

With nearly 20 teams and 40 contestants taking part, the only Bollywood songs competition was quite stiff. The competition involved four rounds of questions. The standard antalshari, singing a song with a particular word, singing the song after hearing 10 seconds of the introductory music, and singing the song which had a with a particular context which was provided as a clue in English. 

On behalf of IAGB, Aditi Taylor and her team did a superb job organizing the event. The last round for qualifying for the semifinals in early January is this weekend in Shrewsbury.
