SWARAAG’s thrilling Bollywood Music & Dance Competition this Saturday December 3rd at 3pm
Do not miss this weekend’s exciting world of competition at 2016 SwaRaag. Over a 100 participants packed with plenty of energy with nuanced dance routines and engaging musical deliveries. SwaRaag brilliantly showcases the best in New England at its Solo Dance, Duo Dance, Group Dance, Spot Choreography and Solo Song categories. After repeated requests over the years, SwaRaag looks to open a special age division called ‘Dazzling Moms’ at this event.
In addition to the competition SwaRaag adds flavor by introducing Celebrity artist Rohini Rajaraman – a vocalist and Airtel Super Singer performer, who has worked with A.R. Rahman in India and other noted music directors Yuvan Shankar Raja, Vidyasagar, Bharathwaj. Passionate about music since childhood and a teacher of Carnatic music, she has performed with playback singers S.P.Balasubrahmanyam and Srinivas and also been invited to perform for Indian President A.B.J.Abdul Kalam. She had recently given concerts in UK, Europe, Sri Lanka and at SwaRaag she will be the featured Celebrity Artist presenting RAHMAN Rock Fusions. Accompanying her on instruments will be Christy Mathew (keyboard), Hiral Parikh (drums), Oleg Smirnov (guitar) and Sam Rao (octapad).
