Ekal New England Poetry and Essay Writing Competition 2016

Ekal Youth Leader, Nandini Seetharaman designed and executed the Writing Contest earlier in the summer to benefit Ekal Vidyalaya. Ekal, a non-profit organization,  brings education to children in rural India. Nandini herself is a High School student from Shrewsbury. Her thinking behind this campaign was simple - “if you can read/write, participate in this contest and give another kid the opportunity to read/write”.
