Diwali Appreciation Dinner @ SATSANG Center:
SATSANG continues its journey of devotion and bhakti and this year we celebrate SATSANG's 31st year. With commitment and faith, SATSANGI's mission to accomplish a Devotional Center (SATSANG CENTER) was also achieved in 1993.
In order to recognize our supporters, SATSANG has been organizing for the past 10 years DIWALI Appreciation Dinner to not only recognize contributors, but also to promote our current generation to continue this journey of SATSANG in their lives.
On Nov. 6th Sunday, SATSANGIs experienced a wonderful evening where all the contributors were recognized, and also experienced beautiful RANGOLI and a musical evening.
This is the 3rd Year that SATSANG has organized a RANGOLI competition. Over 100 people attended SATSANG Diwali and enjoyed the RANGOLI Festival. This event was organized by Bina Morparia and 20 entries were submitted with over 30 participants. All the kids were so amazed at their own ability of creating such beautiful artwork with rangoli colors, sand art, play dough, popsicle sticks, paint ....imagination and creativity was at its peak, even the adults were amazed in doing their own art work after so many years..many shared. Some doing it for the first time. One of the participants actually found the experience as "therapeutic", whilst others commented on how "peaceful" it felt as they all immersed in their own rangoli colors. This is the beauty of art of how it can captivate one's mind and get them immersed into the beauty of the colors.
