| IMANE Gala Announces Its Cultural Program: Mastani Shamm |

Indian Medical Association of New England (IMANE) invites everyone to “Come one Come all†to this enchanting evening of awesome music that will take you down the memory lane. Gala will be on November 19th at Burlington Marriott Hotel. The talented group of singers Mohan Subramaniam, Sowmya Shri, Nidhi Tare Lad and Hemant Patkar will regale you with popular songs from Hindi movies.
Dr. Sapna Aggarwal, President of IMANE said “We are working really hard to have an exceptional IMANE Gala this year. I am really excited as we have a fabulous cultural program.â€
Mohan Subramaniam has produced hit sold out shows like Suhana Safar, Shaam-e-Burman, Khandan-e-Kapoor, Baadshah-e-Romance and most recently, A Musical journey with Hrishikesh Mukherjee. He has been involved with music all his life growing up in a rich environment of classical music and training in music. Many have remarked that his singing touches peoples’ hearts in a special way.
Sowmya Shri has trained in Hindustani classical music and was the runners up in the ZEE TV Kannada SaReGaMa. Her voice has enchanted audiences both in India and Boston. Nidhi Tare Ladd comes from a family of avid music lovers and has trained in music. Audiences love her sweet voice. Hemant Patkar is also trained in music and has enchanted audiences with his lovely voice.
The music program will be followed by dancing, fun and frolic by our own talented and beloved Preetesh DJ who is known to New England community for his brilliant talents.
Dr. Devila Shah, co-chair of IMANE cultural committee said “We have had the fortune to attend musical shows by Mohan and his group and they are always top-notch. This is an extraordinary group of talented fingers and we are still looking forward to the wonderful musicâ€
Preetesh Shrivastava said “New England is a prestigious place for medical career and only a selected few doctors get an opportunity to work here. I certainly brag to my Indian American friends from other parts of the US, that New England is a great place to be and one of the key reasons is that not only our community has a great presence in the medical field here, but we also have something called IMANE that shows our strength and contribution in this field. I am proud that IMANE has invited me to perform during their annual gala. I hope that I can live up to the expectations and can entertain the respected community.â€
