Jugni Concert 2016 (Show of the year)

Jugni concert was brought by Bollywood America and Bollywood Grill to the area of greater Boston to enjoy the music from both nations Pakistan and India.  This show was well organized by Mirza Tanveer (Bollywood America Inc.) and Parvin Gill (Bollywood Grill). The show started on time with full energy, which made all the audiences to engage in traditional and contemporary live music from Sanjha Punjab area of both countries. The purpose of this concert was to bring audience from both nations to one place and promote Pakistani and Indian traditional culture through music.  

The show started with the melodious voice of Bollywood sensational singer Ritu Sagar with popular songs of Malika-e-Tarannum Noor Jahan from Pakistan.  Then she continued with her own top rated upbeat songs …”PK Yaar”, “Ishq Malang” and many more songs from her new Album “Ishq Malang”. Her music tracks were controlled and played by Prof. Kai, Berkeley College of Music.

After Ritu Sagar, well-known Coke Studio singer Meesha Shafi from Pakistan came on stage with her hit songs and she did a wonderful performance. She started with “Alaf Allah”, “Chori Chori” and many more songs. Safi started her singing career with the Overload band and left that band in 2011. She achieved popularity for her collaboration with Jugni-King Arif Lohar on Coke Studio Pakistan Season 3 with the song “Alaf Allah” (Jugni).

Finally, world recognized singer Jugni-King Mr. Arif Lohar came on stage with Coke-Studio band and put a fire on stage with all his hit songs…”Ik Phul Motiye Da Marke Jaga Sohnie”, “Challa mere jee dhola” and “Jugni” that became super hit song around the globe. Jugni track, which is filmed in Coke Studio, made him well-recognized singer in Pakistan and India. Since then, he is known as the Jugni-King. He did outstanding performance and Boston audience will remember him forever in their hearts.

According to data collected by Bollyz Media and the audience who participated in the  concert that Mr. Mirza and Parvin Gill are five star promoters in the area of New England.
