A team from Academy for Science and Design, Nashua is going to Destination Imagination Global finals. It is a team of four. There are two 6th graders, 1 7th and 1 8th grader in the team. They had to go through the regional and states competitions to qualify.

Unlike many programs, the students teams of up to seven students are responsible for solving all aspects of the challenge, from planning and time schedule to idea generation and construction. Over 3,000 students from over 200 schools and community groups had teams participate in New Hampshire Destination Imagination this year.
The Global Finals will be held at the University of Tennessee from May 25-28, 2016. The challenges focused in technology, science, fine arts, improvisation, structure or service entrepreneurship. It’s where creativity, teamwork and innovation meets STEAM-based problem solving for student teams.
