A Program for LearnQuest Music Conference 2016

LearnQuest Academy of Music presents its 11^th Annual Music Conference from Wednesday, March 23 to Sunday, March 27, 2016. As in the previous years, the conference is a combination of a set of lecture demonstrations and concerts at a three day festival of Indian Classical Music. The lecture demonstrations are organized in collaboration with Boston University, MITHAS of MIT and Berklee College of Music, and will be held at these institutions on March 23^rd, 24^th and 25^th. The three day music festival will be held at Regis College, Weston MA on March 25^th, 26^th, and 27^th. This five day music conference is a unique opportunity for music lovers to learn about and enjoy the two styles of Indian Classical music, Hidustani and Carnatic. The final concert of the festival is a presentation by World Music featuring Ustad Zakir Hussain and the Masters of Percussion.
