Bighelp's 13th annual event "Pongal Republic Day Celebrations 2016" held on Jan. 9th 2016 was a grand success!

Thanks to all 275 kids that performed on the stage, 450 children that participated in the contests, all Volunteers, Youth Volunteers, Coordinators, Judges, Parents, Choreographers and Teachers for their dedication, compassion and hard work. 

Around 1450 people attended the event and helped us raise $40,000 to sponsor the education of underprivileged children in India and to support government public schools. Thanks to all donors who made generous donations. Every child that is going to benefit by these funds owes you a debt of gratitude for your generosity. Please check with your employer if they match your donation to Bighelp and register your donation with their matching gift program.
