The week-long Jnana Yagna on “Rama – The Ideal Man” by Swami Ramakrishnanandaji at the MetroWest chapter of Chinmaya Mission Boston was very well received.  A heartfelt gratitude and thanks to Swami Ramakrishnanandaji and CIF for bringing this opportunity at our door. The Yagna started on Saturday, October 4th and ended on Saturday, October 10th.

It was Swamiji’s second visit at MetroWest and first “Jnana Yagna”.  Swamiji’s talk and presentation attracted attendees of all age groups. Swamiji’s thoughtful delivery of the message and ability to connect with all ages was simply amazing. Many attendees mentioned that they learnt so much and felt that the simple application of the knowledge he shared will bring more harmony at home. We were fortunate to have Swamiji share his love and wisdom. His compassion was very visible to us - he was flexible and patient with the arrangements made during his visit.  We (MetroWest families)  are very thankful for his encouraging thoughts on doing more for this chapter.

His talks were full of inspiration, love and humor. Swamiji used his witty sense  by narrating the  real life situations  and giving beautiful comparative analysis of reactions of  ordinary human being with that of responses of   Lord Rama and his standards.

Like Sabari, who tasted each berry and offered sweet ones to Rama, our Swamiji personally handpicked and chose gems from each verse of the Valmiki Ramayan and Kamba Ramayan to offer sweet ideals of Rama in different angles for seekers like us. His talks have made a great impact on our lives by allowing them to further connect with the scriptures that lay as hidden treasures.

For the Metrowest chapter of Chinmaya Mission Boston, this Jnana Yagna has been a cooperative endeavor. His presence and warmth brought members together and each of one them gave their best in their seva. For many, it was an exciting and enriching experience. We are 100% confident this Jnana yagna will bring transformation in the right direction for the individual, as well as for the Metrowest chapter.

Many volunteers outside of the U.S. must have contributed behind the scenes for the success of these camps abroad. We would like to express our sincere appreciation for the same.

We are eagerly looking forward for his next Jnana Yagna in Metrowest Chapter of CMB during the year 2016.
