Khel, A Science and Robotics training center in Shrewsbury, successfully conducted a Chemistry contest for middle school age children on Sunday Aug 9th.

Kartik Donepudi and Rohit Kaushik, both students of Chemistry classes at Khel participated with enthusiasm and answered many questions with ease. Proctors of the contest included Cornell University bound, top tankers from Shrewsbury high school. Chemistry questions ranging from periodic table, electron configuration of elements, balancing of equations, etc were included in the contest. Prizes of 100 and 50 dollar gift certificates were awarded at the end. Huge positive response was received from parents, tutors and contesting children themselves saying that introducing them to Chemistry at such early stages is giving them a confidence boost and a clear edge over other kids of same age group.
