Arun Saigal //
It was early in the morning
The sky was gray
On September eleventh
A tragic day
Two planes were hijacked
By a few crazy men
On September eleventh
Right there and then
They hit the Twin Towers
The towers fell down
They fell with a crash
And ruined the town
It was a horrible day
A terrible night
People were scared
To go on a flight
Many were injured
And thousands died
Everyone was heartbroken
While many even cried
Teachers and students
All tried to make sense
Of the terrible event
That was very deep and dense
This day can never be forgotten
In any time or place
America usually wins
But fell in this one race
(Arun Saigal is a fifth grader at the Foxhill Elementary School in Burlington, MA. )
