It’s time of the year again and New England Shiridi Sai Parivar gears up with lots of zeal for the much awaited event “Shri Saibaba Palkhi Utsav”. Just like in the past, the tradition of Sai Palkhi initiation this year will start on May 23^rd. The big day will begin with Baba Abhishek, Kids Cultural program followed by the Palkhi Initiation. The Palkhi will be stationed at the temple for the rest of the day.

As we all know that NESSP has acquired 28 acres land in Groton MA,  Bhoomi Shuddhikarana( sanctifying  and cleaning the land) Pooja  to start the construction will take place on Sunday, May 24^th morning followed by the Palkhi procession to the homes of the devotees.

This year the Palkhi procession will be held for 9 weeks until July 31^st (Guru Poornima day) and visit around 200 houses across MA, NH and ME. The Palkhi utsav will conclude on August 1^st.

NESSP humbly welcomes all the devotees to join the Palkhi Initiation Program and be part of the Bhoomi Pooja and support the relentless efforts of the volunteers throughout the 9 weeks procession.

It is indeed a great experience visiting the devotee homes along with the procession, singing the glory of our beloved Sai and get the blessings.
