Celestial Minds Chessomania, Lecture & Simultaneous Chess Display By Grandmaster Tejas Bakre

Celestial Minds invites New England Chess players of all levels to attend this event filled with Chess fun, Lessons, Simultaneous display , Friendly games with India’s one of the most accomplished Chess players, International Chess Grandmaster Tejas Bakre. He is visiting US and will be coming to Boston for Celestial Minds " Chessomania" event. 

Event is open to candidates who are totally new to Chess along with Chess fans, hobbyists, tourney players and also to audience who likes to be a part of it.

Tejas Bakre is the eleventh Grandmaster from India. He has won  World Youth Olympics  Gold Medal (Russia - 1998), Asian Junior Gold Medal twice (Iran -1998 Ind- 2000) , Asian Sub-Junior Gold Medal, (India  1997). He has received Special Recognition from Sports ministry, Govt. Of India. His students have created records at various levels.

Program Details:

SectionA 1pm -2pm: Lessons for Newcomers by Celestial Minds Team  (  get introduced to Chess and learn your first moves, pls attend A; also stay for B, C and experience the sessions; even if you are in intermediate you are welcome to this section. Different booths will be set up)

SectionB 2pm-3:15pm: Chess Lecture, Tips, Concepts , QnA and Address to the gathering by Grand Master Tejas Bakre  (Intermediate/Advance ,attend  B and C)

SectionC 3:15 -5pm: Simultaneous Chess Display by  GM Tejas Bakre 

Note:

In C, everyone will have their individual boards and play against the GM.  GM will make sure he challenges each one of them during the game at their level and you get to  experience a longer session.  Whoever finishes A, B,C can also play friendly games in the hall.

Prizes: GM Tejas Bakre will chose the best performers in children and adult category regardless of Win or Loss or Draw. ( Three from adult categories, two from female section, five from boys section).
