The South Asian Arts Council is thrilled to host India’s funniest comedian in Boston at the world renowned comedy hot spot, the Laugh Factory.

The hilarious and charming Anuvab Pal whose plays (Chaos Theory, The President is Coming, FATWA) and movie scripts (The Loins Of Punjab Presents, The President Is Coming) made his style of comedy critically and commercially popular across stages and screens in New York and India, has been performing as a stand-up comedian for the last year or so with the international success The Nation Wants To Know. 

Anuvab has performed in New York to sold out audiences and we are thrilled to have him in Boston for is the first of what we hope to be many appearances.  Anuvabs subjects ranges from historical to current affairs in both India and the west and appeals to every age group and audience.

The New York Times has called Anuvab Pal "India's most intelligent stand-up comic" and The BBC says he's "India's answer to PG Wodehouse." He has sold out shows around India, The Middle East and The UK. The Times of India calls The Nation Wants to Know "brilliant and spectacular. A witty, clever, satirical evening of hilarity.
