AIR INDIA, National carrier of India, is delighted to sponsor the India Day 2015 by providing two round-trip Economy class tickets, for travel from New York to India.

India Day celebrations this year will take place on August 16, 2015 at the Hatch Memorial Shell, Boston, MA and will be organized by the India Association of Greater Boston.

The India Association of Greater Boston (IAGB), founded in 1962, is the premier Indian-American organization in New England, representing immigrants from the Indian subcontinent and their progeny living in Greater Boston and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. IAGB is one of the oldest and secular Indian-American organizations in New England. In its early years, the Association had played a major role in bringing together a small, but growing, Indian-American community by celebrating the festivals of India.

While IAGB has been celebrating India’s Independence Day (India Day) and the Republic Day anniversaries for decades, in recent years these events have grown into mega melas, drawing a wide cross section of the Indian and American communities. IAGB is able to organize these grand events because of the dedication and hard work of the officers and directors of the Association, the commitment of countless number of volunteers, and the overwhelmingly enthusiastic support and active participation of scores of the Indian-American organizations of Greater Boston.
