Simon Malls across Massachusetts and New-Hampshire in the month of October invited Broadway stars/singers (ages 8 and up ) to perform a song from Annie The Musical for a chance to win the “Annie For A Day” Prize Package. Two winners from each Mall competition were selected as semifinalists. There were 10 semifinalists who competed at Burlington Mall on October 18th. The finale event was judged by acclaimed celebrities, Sue Brady, Amanda Carr, Joyce Kulhawik and hosted by Candy O'Terry. 

Sachi Badola, 10yrs old, was semifinalist from Pheasant Lane Mall and was unanimously selected as a winner at the finale event (https://www.youtube.com/watch?=SdCTrCzX8xI&list=UUxdXEGizyVmr-ec-RyrLveg&index=1). The winner was given the grand prize to perform at the Citi Wang Theater in the lobby and be recognized as “Annie for a Day” prior to the show, a family 8-pack to see Annie The Musical, a limo ride to and from the show, dinner, a meet & greet with the Annie Broadway cast, and a $250 Simon Mall Giftcard. In addition, Sachi was selected for Community Auditions hosted by Billy Costa (http://communityauditions.com/) that will be telecast on WCVB on Sundays at 11:30am. Sachi is a proud member of New England Indian community and participates in various local music and charity events. She has been learning Indian and Western music since the age of 4 and remains indebted to her teachers to bring passion for music in her life.
