How did you get interested in a program for India ?
From a young age I was already triggered to human&child rights and sustainability and making the world a better place. As a program manager at the Future Firm, I am now connecting my passion, background and expertise. I do help people and organizations in becoming more aware of their unleashed potential to make a difference.
After my studies, I started working for the local government and a child rights organization. In 2010 I joined the Future Firm, to set up an unique global leadership program in India, for one of our clients. That year, I visited the country 3 times and fell in love with it.
My colleague Lieke Rozendal has a background in anthropology and international development. Her focus within the Future Firm is on organizational change and leadership development. Bringing together different worlds gives her endless energy, as well as making people grow. We do share the same passion when it comes to India and to (corporate) social responsibility. Lieke has been working on several projects throughout India during her studies and working life.
Give us some background on your organization and how you got involved
We, at the Future Firm seek and develop people’s unused potential in a creative way. To us, leadership is not a position, it is a choice & responsibility and it is very personal. Before you can lead others, you first need to lead yourself. We are specialized in programs in the field of personal and team development linked to strategy and sustainability. We work with people on all levels in organizations, all over the world. We have been leading programs at several Multinational Companies (like TNT Express, AkzoNobel, ASML, ARCADIS), educational organizations and many more.
As a Social Enterprise we believe that leadership always starts with the self, yet never ends with it. Part of our work is therefore to help people unleash their potential in order to make a positive impact on their environment and create a better world.
I have joined the Future Firm in 2010 to partly focus on the development of The Future Firm Foundation. That’s where my colleague Lieke Rozendal and I have the space to make a difference and design programs that contribute to society.
