IAGB To Host India Day 2014 At Hatch Shell

We have worked closely with the MA State agencies to make it entertaining and safe for all. In the light of new increased security arrangements, kindly read and be guided by the following instructions:

·         Address of the DCR Hatch Memorial Shell is ‘47 David G Mugar Way,  Boston, MA 02108’ for your GPS use.

·         Ground opening time:

At 2:00 pm sharp, the State Police will go through the area with their bomb squad. Depending on the time it takes them, the gates will be opened to the public around 2:30 - 3:00 pm.

·         Parking and entrance:

There is NO parking at the Hatch Shell.

Ø  Parking choices:

**Boston Common parking garage - costs $18.
**Street Parking – free
****Laz Parking at MEEI (Mass Eye and Ear Infirmary) - park and walk 5 minutes to the Hatch Shell.

Park at: Storrow Drive

Note: The Storrow Drive and Charles Street parking lots are located in Boston’s Beacon Hill, across from the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. Open to the public nights and weekends, the parking lots are conveniently located for Beacon Hill residents and visitors to the Esplanade.
Saturday and Sunday (up to 12 hours): $10

 .                  Drop Off

When you arrive closer to the Hatch Shell Auditorium, you will notice that the rightmost lane of the Storrow Drive is temporarily blocked for our event. Please keep moving slowly, until the nearest point of the Auditorium and you will see security / volunteers standing at the designated 'unloading/drop off area'.  After dropping off people, you will need to leave the area and find a Parking spot in the Boston Common parking garage or street parking (free street parking on Sundays).
 
Due to security requirements, please allow an additional 10 - 15 minutes to make it to you destination.
