Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif took off for a getaway to an island off the French coast to celebrate Katrina Kaif's birthday. A source says, `Katrina is shooting in Prague with Hrithik Roshan for Bang Bang. For her birthday, she was given two days off. She flew into Corsica to be with Ranbir for her big day. Ranbir also took time off from his shoot. Initially there was the buzz that she would spend the day in Corsica with Ranbir. But he had planned a surprise getaway and he brought in her birthday on the night of July 15.

Actors doing the promotion rounds for their film's publicity sake is nothing new. However, Salman Khan doesn't wish to follow suit this time around. In fact, he'll not be promoting Kick through city tours. The actor doesn't want to embark on such trips because he thinks his fans get hurt by the hysteria which is created by his presence. A source close to the actor said, `Salman is not keen on city tours as managing the crowd becomes difficult and causes problems at times. Also, there have been times when a woman has been pushed and then people make an issue out it.`  This is also the first time the star will not be going to his hometown Indore to promote his film. When he was promoting his earlier release Jai Ho, he did many city visits and the crowd had gone out of control.

Nevertheless the latest grapevine states that Alia undoubtedly has a huge crush on co-star Varun, but she can hardly do anything about it as there is a buzz that 'Humty Sharma' has already found his 'Dhulania' i.e he is already in a long time relationship with girlfriend Natasha Dalal. Not to forget, Alia had also mentioned going through a heart break while she was being interviewed by a renowned magazine, not very sure whether she was referring to Varun or someone else?

Veteran actress Zohra Sehgal died on Thursday of cardiac arrest at the age of 102, a family member said. A heart patient, Sehgal was admitted to the Max Hospital in south Delhi's Saket area after being diagnosed with pneumonia Wednesday. She died of a heart attack at 4.30 p.m. Thursday. She is best remembered for her appearances in "Bhaji on the Beach" (1992) "Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam", "Bend It Like Beckham" (2002), and "Dil Se..." (1998). And who can forget her role as Amitabh Bachchan's impish mother in "Cheeni Kum"! Her last big screen appearance was in "Saawariya".Among several awards, she was honoured with the Padma Shri, Padma Bhushan and Padma Vibhushan.
