This year the event was held at the Recreation Center on March 30, 2024. 21 candidates standing for a variety of positions including School Board, Town Moderator, Town Meeting Member and the Select Board met with the Indian community. There were more than 60 people in attendance.

Nand Kishore Sharma served as the President of Vishwa Hindu Parishad of America. He received his PhD in Civil Engineering from Cornell University and worked for Bell Labs in North Andover. He is survived by his spouse Indu Sharma of Salem NH, his sons Raman Sharma of Groton CT and Anoop Sharma of Salem NH, his daughter in laws, Shweta Sharma of Groton CT and Manisha Sharma of Salem NH and two grandchildren Anusha Sharma and Shivaan Sharma. He was 82 years old.
