The Satyanarayana Puja is a religious worship of Lord Vishnu, the protector the world. The puja is described in the Skanda Purana, a medieval era Sanskrit text. The Ramayana is an epic poem which was first written from memory (smriti) by sage Valmiki in the Sanskrit language. Many years later, Goswami Tulsidas, born in the 16th century, wrote the Ramcharitmanas (a different version of the Ramayana written in Avadhi Hindi), which is the scripture used as a basis by Morari Bapu in his kathas. He will be in Boston from July 8th-16th.

At the Global Finals held in San Diego last week, TiE Boston’s Young Entrepreneurs (TYE) team , Aqua-Sol won the 1st Runner-Up Award. The team, which consists of Soham Kulkarni, Samarth Bedre, Jacob Slavsky, Anoop Rampure and Karthik Pisupati, developed a technique that uses a water distribution system to enhance solar panel efficiency and extend the lifespan of solar panels. They were also awarded the Best Business Plan Award.
