Obituary: Meenakshi Narain | |
Meenakshi Narain passed away on Jan. 1, 2023. She was a Professor and Chair of the Physics Department at Brown University. Meenakshi was born on May 9, 1963, in Gorakhpur, India. Meenakshi earned her doctorate in physics from the State University of New York, Stony Brook. She had a B.Sc. degree from Gorakhpur University in India and a M.Sc in Physics from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India. She was recently awarded a distinguished alumnus award from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India.
