| Shishu Bharati’s Mission Continues With Remote Teaching And Learning |
As a precautionary measure and in anticipation of State closing down due to the pandemic and unpresented times, Shishu Bharati initiated and transitioned to remote teaching and learning. Over two-hundred or so teachers, and the administrative staff quickly adopted online classes to about 850 students from all three-facilities (Lexington, MA; Nashua, NH; and Walpole, MA).

Deepak Krishnamurthy of Stanford University and Shriya Srinivasan of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology have been named to the third cohort of Schmidt Science Fellows. The new Fellows aim to harness interdisciplinary approaches to tackle long-term societal challenges, including infectious disease, climate change, and biodiversity loss, according to the news release.

The New England Circle of Hope has raised funds towards supporting educational kits to ensure that migrant children at the highest risk of learning loss do not fall behind as they battle this crisis in a very uncertain time. A Mobile library will visit villages in Kalahandi district of Odisha and circulate 1500 kits containing a storybooks, educational puzzles, and crayons.
