Carnatic Vocal Arangetram: Yash Ravish | by Ravikanth Rayadurgam
Arangetrams are meant to be the first formal concert in public for an aspiring musician. Typical expectations include a solid grasp of the technical fundamentals of the music along with the sort of preparation required to sing a full-length concert in the traditional paddhati. What is not necessarily expected is the complete composure and abandoned singing that we saw in this concert by Yash Ravish, a student of Smt. Tara Anand.

Nashua Hosts Inaugural Multicultural Festival | |
"On behalf of the Cultural Connections Committee and the 2018 Nashua Multicultural Festival Planning Committee I am beyond thrilled with the enthusiasm and generous response with which the inaugural event was received. The success is even more gratifying as this was the kick off event to Nashua's Welcoming Week celebrations. We had 23 artisan and display tables, samples of food from at least 8 different local ethnic restaurants and a dozen exciting stage program of music and dance as well as an international traditional dress fashion show! This celebration of diversity brought us all together as one and as an immigrant myself it was immensely satisfying to see all the smiles. We will begin work on the next year's event shortly! We sincerely hope to see more cultures involved in the festivities in 2019!" - Deepa Mangalat.
